Sun Fast 3300 at Transquadra

Open sea sailing athlete Tolga Pamir has recently completed his 16-day voyage record attempt with his new Jeanneau Sun Fast 3300, starting from Hopa district of Artvin and sailed the Black Sea, Marmara Sea, Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Seas by only using wind power.

Now, Alize Ocean Racing, a completely Turkish team constituted by Sinan Sümer and Tolga Ekrem Pamir, is approaching the end of its preparations for the French-Caribbean two-stage ocean race Transquadra. Alize Ocean Racing will join this race with their Sun Fast 3300. They will be the first Turkish team to join Transquadra.

More than 100 teams from different countries will participate and the first stage of the race, will start in the port cities of France, Marseille and L'Orient. After the Marseille - Madeira stage, which will be held on 13-28 August 2021, the Maderia - Martinique stage will be held between 29 January - 19 February 2022.

Transquadra, one of the most challenging sailing races in the world, will make the childhood dreams of Sinan Sümer and Tolga Ekrem Pamir come true.

The organization, which allows their participants to compete in singlehanded or doublehanded teams, offers sailors a unique natural beauty experience as well as the excitement of racing. Due to the tough conditions, only experienced sailors over 40 years old and special ocean boats of certain sizes are accepted to Transquadra.

We want to successfully represent Turkish sailing in Transquadra and open a new horizon for sailors. We think that all this racing experience will be especially beneficial for young sailors. We will also create various training programs so that young sailors can benefit from our experience in Transquadra.
